The Holy Supper
The Holy Supper: It was agreed that the Holy Supper should be administered to members of the Church only, but that in cases where a member of the congregation who was not yet a member of the Church desired to partake of the Holy Supper out of a feeling of oneness with the Church and was not yet prepared to become a member of the Church, exception might be made. Yet it is incumbent upon the priest to point out to such persons that the true order is that only those who are baptized members of the Church should partake of the Holy Supper. Such a permission should be regarded as temporary, and should be terminated after a suitable period if such persons do not wish to enter the Church.
